Edradour 12 Year Old - Caledonia Selection, Oloroso Cask - 46%
A special bottling of Edradour 12yo. Songwriter Dougie Maclean has selected this single Oloroso cask from 1997 as part of the Homecoming celebrations and named it after his most famous song, Caledonia.
This is the first in what will be an ongoing series from Edradour.
Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban - Port Cask Finish - 46%
Highland Single Malt
Scotch Whisky Glenmorangie's Quinta Ruban replaced the old Port Wood Finish expression a few years ago.
Bottled at a higher strength, enhancing the extra grapey sweetness the old expression was famous for.
Glenturret 10 Year Old - 40%
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The replacement for the old 12yo as the distillery's standard bottling, Glenturret 10yo has a deliciously rich, fruity character. You can see why Famous Grouse is so successful with Glenturret as its backbone.
Famous Grouse - Bourbon cask finish - 40%
Blended Scotch Whisky First produced in 1860 (when it was just 'The Grouse'), The Famous Grouse has been the No. 1 whisky in Scotland since 1980.
Big Peat - Islay Blended Malt - 46%
Big Peat is a Blended (as we have to call them now) Islay malt containing spirit from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and, shockingly, Port Ellen. Not as full-on as the name might suggest, but with pedigree like that at this price Big Peat is a nailed-on winner. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.
